All about “Support your local ghetto”:

This was the name of my weekly Radio Show in 2004/2005 on Twen.FM, here in Berlin. I had a lot of fun playing my fave tunes plus having guests from all over the world. Mostly my guests where just from the neighborhood. I love my hood. There are so many talented artists which have to be heard. So, lets stay local. But local not only in the meaning of territory, local means also all the friends and people you have in your neighborhood. Will never forget the outstanding show with Blake Baxter and Abe Duque or with the Stones Throw Dudes. Some recordings of this shows must still be in the interwebs. Will try to find and publish them here.

In 2011 “support your local ghetto” became the name of my monthly event at the wonderful Panke, in Berlin Wedding. The concept is the same, just playing eclectic music, mostly Bass, Footwork, Future Garage, Future Electronics but also cool HipHop (everything but 4/4 ..) which you might not hear somewhere else in the clubs of Berlin. Inviting friends to join in beyond hysterical hipsterness.

DJ Tanith: we are both called “Urgesteine” of the music scene and it was fantastic to see that he also didn’t stopped listening and playing to new stuff

Ronny aka Das Kraftfuttermischwerk, also a great pleasure to meet this super sympatico dude and his family. Playing again in Sept. 2012, this time with a bit more broken beats stile

JStar, the one and only.. Found him back in Berlin after we played 10 years ago already together some partys in Berlin. Looking forward to do some more shows
